The binder, on the other hand, is the liquid component of the ink and serves as the carrier for the pigment. During the printing process, the link material transports the pigment particles from the ink chamber of the printing machine, through the ink roller, the printing plate, and finally to the substrate to form an ink film. This film is then fixed, dried, and adhered to the substrate. The gloss, dryness, and mechanical strength of the ink film are all influenced by the performance of the binder.
